„The work of Ingibjorg Magnadottir is rooted in literature and theatre. In her works, sometimes performances, sometimes films, the artist mingles unconventional and non-narrative elements stemming from the surrealism of the most psychoanalytical Breton, the Dadaist power of Tzara and the Nordic contribution of the neo-avant-gardes of the sixties: Fluxus and SUM, from Dieter Roth to Magnus Palsson. In this short film we find some themes dear to the artist, such as personal relationships, the relationship between mother and daughter, but also an atavistic and primitive relation between nature and humanity, between spaces, forms and behaviours. In this universe, the emotions immediately become gestures without being sifted by reason, the dialogues are fragmented and cryptic and some details are lost. Though the overall meaning of the story is powerful and immediate„
